Day 365 of My Spiritual Life Journey:
🌀A New Life🌀
"God is within her she will not fail." Psalms 46:5

Today's the day! Today marks the end of my 365 day journey of walking with God and sharing my soul for all of the world to see. In sharing your heart you will see many fleshy flaws but you will see the trueness as well. Yes my fleshy self has made mistakes this year but the truth is we are all human and all very very flawed! Jesus meets us where we are at and he makes us complete. So bring your brokenness and I'll bring mine.
To end this journey I wanted to share something special with all of you. I wanted to share a ballet dance I choreographed and danced to the song "Live Is Christ." I've always loved dance but I stopped and I told God I would just dance in heaven. This journey opened my eyes that with Christ all things are possible. So no I'm not up to par on my turn out, my flexibility or my balance but you know what on this day and in this place it was for God. He was my proud father and that is all that matters!
The Challenge:
Always be true to the person you were created to be in our lord! What puts a spark into your soul; Puts a big spark of joy into our fathers heart.
This Journey has ended but I'm excited about the future and this NEW LIFE.

Day 275 of My Spiritual Life Journey:
🌀A Cold Plunge🌀
"Be strong, Be brave, Be fearless; you are never alone." Joshua 1:9
There is a saying that we should do one thing each day that scares us! Through this journey I continue to take risk and I now see how more enriched my life has become.
For our Anniversary we were up at Strawberry Hot Springs in Streamboat Springs, CO. They have a very warm hot spring pool right next to the freezing cold river. For fun people dare each other to jump into the cold water. It's very similar to the feeling of the 'polar bear plunge this time of year in the mountains as all the snow is melting.
I watched as my husband made the leap; he got such an adrenaline rush. Never in my life would I have done this but in my new life I take more risk and work hard to live a life without fear. I'm not a swimmer but I took the leap of faith: I immediately panicked, flailed around and my husband came to my rescue.
The Challenge:
I left the icy cold water feeling proud that I faced something that absolutely terrified me. What's something that scares you? Make a point this year to face that fear and find a new sense of strength that you didn't know you had.

Day 239 of My Spiritual Life Journey:

🌀
Sharing the LOVE🌀

"God is not finished with me yet." (Philippians 1:6)

I have often asked why there are no longer large miracles such as the parting of the Red Sea. In the bible, all these great events occurred but now in modern days, they are not so easily seen by the naked eye. Through this journey I have come across the answer to this lingering question.
There are no gigantic miracles, such as God showing himself to Moses in a burning bush, because God gave us Jesus instead. I actually recently discovered that Jesus rising from the dead was witnessed by more than 500 people. This was enough for God to trust that we would finally absorb the truth. The truth of christ would be shared to the world through those who simply believe! Still to this day Jesus is being shared and this is a miracle in and of itself.
Yesterday, in the Target line I was standing there in this bible tour t-shirt and noticed the man next to me with a T Shirt which said "Thank God I'm not the man I use to be." with Phillippians 1:6 quoted right below it. There it all was, Gods inspiration for this message today!
The Challenge:
Since Gods not done with you yet, think about what more he has planned for your life. How does he want to be a part of your life? How does he want to share his love through you
?

Day 241 of My Spiritual Life Journey:

🌀
A Valued Treasure🌀

"Do not cast your pearls to swine." (Matthew 7:6)
We are in this world but not of this world. We are passing through and this is not meant to be our final destination.
I know this girl that grew up longing to be a part of this world. She wanted to blend in and be like others. Growing up she saw her friends be sought after and she longed for that as well. Little did she know God was protecting her heart, saving her and teaching her not to cast her pearls to swine.
This girl was me. I look back at my younger self before age 21 and I was proud of her. She worked to not throw her pearls to swine. In my 20's I chose to go with the ways of the world and ignore gods precious teachings.
I had to experience things of the world in order to NOW share the value of knowing ones own worth. We are all special gems and we should just wait as God has something very special aligned, all we must do is trust him and be very very patient.

The Challenge:
There really is great blessing in waiting for that perfect Match! Think of yourself as a valued treasure and do not let just anyone take from your treasure. Share your treasure with the one who is invested for life.
